Update for Release 8.2 (Okt 08 2025)

Fixed problem

  • The package for Ubuntu was build on 22.04 instead of 24.04. See dowload page for the correct package.

Known Problem

  • macOS dmg package cannot be opened, OS claims that file is corrupt (Gatekeeper error).

Release 8.2 available (Sep 30 2025)

Several issues are fixed.

  • Ashtakoota: wrong calculation of Dina (#83)
  • Wrong time zone handling for tz > 12 hours, e.g. New Zealand (#85)
  • Wrong display of Hora and Dina lord in Base Data view (#86)
  • Crash in PartnerView/Synastry (Windows only)
  • macOS: program crashed when brew is not installed.
  • Several other bug fixes

New feature: Visual Studio 2022 is now supported. See the Visual Studio 2022 section of the installation page for details.

All binary packages use the latest wxWidgets version (3.2.8) .

Service Release 8.1.1 (May 6 2025)

This release affects only macOS and Linux users.

  • macOS: wrong display of toolbar items fixed.
  • Linux: new packages for Debian Stable/Bookworm and Ubuntu 24 LTS.

  • Source code compiles with recent wxWidgets version (3.2.2)
